The East Lansing Public Library (ELPL) welcomed Angelo Moreno to the position of interim director this week; his first day in the new role was Aug. 9.

The City of East Lansing has released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from graphic designers, artists and/or design firms interested in designing the poster and other deliverables for next year’s East Lansing Art Festival (ELAF).

East Lansing’s 54-B District Court Chief Judge Molly Hennessey Greenwalt has announced that the court will be closed to the public on Thursday, Aug. 10 and Friday, Aug. 11.

Staff from the City of East Lansing’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will be going door to door beginning the week of Aug. 7 to inspect water service pipes entering individual buildings and identify what materials make up those pipes.
