Brookfield Heritage Neighborhood Association Notice of 2009 Annual Business Meeting and Neighborhood Gathering
Neighborhood Gathering, Sunday September 13th
Please join us on Sunday, September 13th (rain date Sunday, September 20th) from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Oakland Drive. The meeting place is the midpoint of the street, in front of 217 Oakland. The Association’s constitution calls for an annual meeting. In addition to the order of business, the gathering is an opportunity to introduce new and long-term residents to one another. Oakland Drive will be blocked at Grand River and Roseland from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. to accommodate the gathering. Bring your lawn chair and your sweet tooth. The Association will be providing ice cream, plates, napkins and beverages. Bringing additional confections to share are welcome but not required.
This is a family affair. Activities for all ages will be provided. Local musicians will play from 4:00 -5:00 p.m. Face painting, balloons and games for the kids from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Three Board members will be completing their terms this year. It is important to the quality of life in our neighborhood, that we maintain an active association within the City. We need nominees to fill these positions. If you are interested in serving on the board, phone Tim Dawson at 333-8654 or volunteer at our gathering.
Neighborhood Concerns?
Please bring your concerns to the meeting so they may be discussed.
Quorum Needed At least 25 members of the Association must be present before the annual meeting can be held.
