5.11.2020 Minutes
Present: Jeff Johnson, Philip Eisenlohr, John Hays, Ben Flietstra, Diane Kearns, Alan Munn, Jennifer Castner
Absent: Jennifer Somerville, Nella Davis-Ray
- The meeting was called to order at 7.33 PM by Ben Flietstra.
- The board reviewed the minutes from the January 27, 2020 meeting. There were no questions. A motion was made and seconded to approve the January 27, 2020 minutes as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
- Ben Flietstra briefly discussed current financials. A current version of the Treasurer’s report was unavailable. It will be emailed to the board.
- On Going Business
- Deed restrictions
- The board discussed the viability of the signing initiate related to the neighborhood deed restrictions. Many members brought up concerns with congregating people during the pandemic. The board agreed to wait and see how the coming months would play out and follow guidance from the Governor.
- John Hays discussed his continued conversation with Rep Brixie to determine status of legislation removing racial language from neighborhoods and HOAs. John will continue to update the board on his discussion.
- The board discussed the viability of the annual meeting in the summer. The neighborhood is required to have at least one annual meeting.
- Welcome new members
- The board discussed welcoming new members to the neighborhood. It was decided it would be an appropriate thing to do to introduce new neighbors to the board and let them know about the webpage and Facebook group. The board agreed to keep an eye out for new neighbors and welcome them if possible.

- The board discussed current members retirement and possible new members to on board. The board will discuss further at the next meeting.

- The next meeting will be held July 20 at 7:30pm over Zoom
- The meeting was adjourned at 8.17 pm.
